Product details-
Stainless Steel 304L Flanges (UNS S30403) is 18-8 chromium and nickel austenitic SS flanges. These flanges are a most economical and unique option for industrial critical and demanding applications. These flanges have the resisting ability of atmospheric corrosion as well as down reducing and oxidizing environments. SS flanges have excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion attacks. These have great outstanding toughness and strength even in the higher temperatures. Its common practice for the alloy to be dual certified. These flanges have good alloying chemistry and have a composition of nitrogen that requires attaining desired mechanical properties. In the annealed condition, this alloy turns in non-magnetic in nature. In the cold working operation, it becomes magnetic in nature even in the welded condition. These flanges have good resistance in atmospheric corrosion. These flanges also offer great performance in many organic and inorganic compounds even in the reducing and oxidizing environments. These flanges have higher chromium composition that provides resistance to oxidizing environments in the temperature range up to 176 deg F. These flanges also have great resistance ability in aggressive organic acids environments such as acetic acids. it also has nickel content that provides resistance to lower environments, not depends on the concentrations. Stainless Steel 304L Flanges are easily fabricated from cold and hot forging operations. The hot forging operations are performed in the temperature range between 750 deg C to 1150 deg C. in this temperature hot working operation is performed. In order to attain higher corrosion resistance in the annealing temperature up to 1038 deg C. this operation is followed by water quenching operations.
