Stainless Steel 321H Fasteners description:
These fasteners are developed for use in elevated temperature where corrosion resistance application required. It has higher oxidation resistance up to 2010 deg F temp even in the intermediate temperatures. It has higher chromium and moderate nickel content that increase its resistance to sulfidation. These fasteners can also be used in moderate carburizing environments.
Because of the nickel content, it can be used in the harsh carburizing environments of thermal processing equipment. SS 321H fasteners can be used in concentric oxidizing, nitriding, thermal cycling, cementing applications. In this range of temp its maximum service in reduces. These fasteners are most beneficial in cryogenic applications with down magnetic properties. It is toughness down up to -450 deg F.
Stainless steel is subjected to sigma phase precipitation in temperature between 1202 deg F to 1742 deg F.

It is also available in the lower amount of carbon. 321 H is the higher carbon version designed for improving the creep resistance.
