Stainless Steel 310S Fasteners description:
Stainless Steel 310S is highly alloyed and from the family of austenitic grade. It is completely designed for higher temperature applications. it is comprised of higher chromium and nickel content that allows it to use in the oxidizing situations while offering service in the continuous service up to 2200 deg F. In intermitting temperatures, these fasteners are used up to 1900 deg F.
These fasteners have the ability to resist scaling and have a lower coefficient of thermal expansion. It is comprised of a high amount of resisting elements that improve oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures. In the severe carburizing zones, its service life is lower that also depends on the end applications. SS S31008 Fasteners also have superior resistance ability compare to lower grade composition alloys.
These fasteners are processed from both cold and hot working operations depend on the end properties required. Here we use trending machines and tools to run-off production under the set industrial norms. These fasteners are processed from the annealing process in the temperature range between 1900 deg F to 2050 deg F. Moreover, it is rapidly cooled by water quenching.
This operation ensures the carbide precipitation will not affect the structure of fasteners. Because of its formability, these fasteners are easily produced. Effective cold working results are achieved mainly in annealed conditions. These fasteners are weldable with all standard welding operations. The manufacturing process is performed under the strict guidance of professionals considering the national and international standards.
