A Lateral tee is a pipe fitting. It is a kind of steel pipe but the branch directions are different from the straight tee. Lateral tee is in contrary to a straight tee because a straight is has a branch of the pipe which is at the direction of 90 degrees to the main running pipe. It looks as the name suggest, it looks like the alphabet “T”.
