ZERON 100 is the super duplex stainless steel alloy that is having very good corrosion resistant ability along with greater strength. It is typically containing nickel of 7%, chromium of 25%, and molybdenum of 3.6% in addition to other alloying elements like tungsten and copper. This alloy is having 50-50 austenitic-ferritic structure. The alloy is also having resistant ability to crevice corrosion, chloride pitting and stress corrosion cracking as well. This alloy UNS designation is S32760. ZERON 100 is with the addition of alloying elements in right quality like molybdenum, chromium, and tungsten is having very good pitting resistant to several organic acids and chloride acids. ZETON 100 is made for meeting the pitting corrosion resistant equivalent at a minimum value of 40. The additions of alloy elements like nitrogen and being ferritic structure provides high yielding strength that is twice that of stainless steel of 300. ZERON 100 is also having copper alloying elements in addition that are providing very good sulfuric acid resistant and for this reason, the alloy is used in the acid leach mining applications and all other industries that are encountering sulfuric acid.

What is Zeron 100 material?

Zeron 100 is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with a high molybdenum content.
