Alloy details

Stainless steel 904L alloy is the super austenitic SS that is developed for the average to the high corrosion resistance at the wider ranges of processing atmosphere. The combination of alloying elements like nickel, chromium, copper, and molybdenum is assuring excellent resistance to corrosion. With the highly alloyed chemistry, 4.5% of molybdenum and 25% of nickel alloy, chloride stress corrosion cracking and pitting and general corrosion resistance becomes possible.
