Stainless Steel 347H Tubes description

SS 347H is enrolled to attain national and international standards. The grade is stabilized with niobium. It has a higher resistance to corrosion in the elevated temperatures. When exposed to the temperature range between 450 deg C to 900 deg C. the grade has the ability to develop chromium carbide precipitation in the grain boundary area. These tubes are susceptible to IGC attacks.
Because of the niobium content, it exhibits the formation of chromium carbide and increases the resistance to corrosion. SS grade has excellent weldability and general properties common to standard austenitic grades. These tubes have higher mechanical properties. The ductility of SS grade is considered for cold working operations. The application of tubes is mainly preferred for corrosive environments and even in the hoisted temperatures. At present, these tubes are being used for heavy duty engineering fields and many other heating applications.
Because of the higher weldability, these can be welded by all standard welding process such as TIG, MIG, arc welding, resistance welding and more. Alloy 347H offer great service in severe chemicals such as halides, alkalis, sulfides, chlorides, phosphoric acids, nitric acids, sulfuric acids, and other harsh chemicals. Moreover, it offers great service in the organic and inorganic compound containing environments.

Stainless Steel S34709 Seamless Tubes are offered in both tempered and quenched state. These tubes are offered with trimmed mill edges and thermally cut edges. These tubes are delivered in cut size length, cut edges, mill edge, and rolled surfaces.
Usually, we use only standard packing methods such as plywood crates, cases, wooden boxes, and cartons. These tubes are individually packed in the form of bundles and covered with a thin film of plastic. Additional support of end plastic cap is also provided to avoid jerks while exporting. Stainless Steel 1.4762 Tubes are available in different treated surfaces and machining allowances for multiple types of applications.
