Product description:
It is a nickel and chromium alloy bars having the good oxidation resistance property at elevated temperatures. Moreover, it has good resistance ability even in carburizing and chloride containing environments. These bars are designed for use in cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 2000 deg F. it has the high composition of nickel content that enables it to retain considerable resistance in the reducing conditions. These bars are highly resistant to corrosive by the number of organic and inorganic compounds. The presence of higher nickel content provides excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking. Also, it provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions.
It is also comprised of chromium content that gives excellent resistance to sulfuric compounds and also performs well in various oxidizing environments. Presence of chromium content makes it superior to commercially pure nickel even in the oxidizing conditions. In the higher concentrations of oxidizing solutions such as nitric acids, it has poor resistance ability.
Relatively, ASTM B166 Inconel N06600 Round Bars are unaffected by the majority of neutral and alkaline solutions and it is also utilized in some caustic environments. This alloy resists the combination of steams and steam of air and Co2.
