ASTM B407 /B514 Incoloy 800H Pipes are high-performance pipes that are extensively utilized in many industrial applications due to its great features and attributes. These alloys of pipes are generally formed with the combination of nickel chromium and iron alloys that improves the corrosion resistance and enables to withstand in high-temperature circumstances. The pipes ensure good tensile strength and excellent resistance to carburization and oxidation in high-temperature exposures. In addition to it contains a high level of carbon content and other content such as titanium and aluminium that ensures excellent performance in a wide range of soaring temperatures.
The pipes have superior creep rupture durability and exhibit good resistance to many sulfur-containing environments. Moreover, these are also resistant to many acidic environments. The pipes demonstrate superior thermal, magnetorstrictive and electrical properties in tough climatic atmospheres. Therefore these also offer great resistance to sulfuric and hydrochloric acids in modest concentrations and atmospheres.
The presence of nickel content makes the pipes highly resistant to embrittlement from precipitation of sigma phase and chloride stress corrosion cracking. The pipes are generally employed in service temperature up to 593 degree C. Thus these are also heat treated at a certain annealing temperature. The pipes feature superior stress and creep rupture properties in solution annealed circumstances. These are both hot and cold worked. In addition to the common welding techniques, the pipes possess superior weldability features.
