ASTM B366 Incoloy 800 alloy is an iron, nickel, and chromium alloy that offers excellent resistance to carburizing and oxidation at high temperatures. Incoloy grades differ only in the level of content and the addition of titanium and aluminum. Incoloy 800 was the first alloy in the series, and subsequent modifications were made to optimize stress-to-rupture attributes by controlling carbon and grain size.

This alloy has been further modified to combine with aluminum and titanium levels that ensure optimum higher temperature properties. It is dual-certified and combines properties of both forms.

ASTM B366 Incoloy 800 Buttweld Pipe Fittings are designed for high-temperature structural applications. The presence of nickel content makes them highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking and embrittlement from precipitation of the sigma phase. They can be used in applications with temperatures up to 1100 deg F, where other standard fittings may become distorted. The chemical structure allows the fittings to exhibit excellent resistance to oxidation, nitriding, and carburization. They will not become embrittled even after long exposure to high temperatures.
