Grade description-
Copper Nickel Cu-Ni 70/30 (C71500) Socketweld Forged Fittings are made from the composition of 70 % copper and 30 % of nickel content. It is composed of good strength, weldability, and workability. This makes it readily weldable and machinable with all standard operations. It is utilized in the marine environments that extended its application in many engineering applications. Its most popular specification covers all the design codes and international standards. The international standards offer stringent control impurities and mechanical attributes with appropriate designs. These socket weld forged fittings are best renowned for excellent corrosion and erosion resistance under the intermitting environments. It has higher corrosion resistance in the high-velocity water or polluted sea waters. These forged fittings are highly resistive to stress corrosion cracking and fatigue corrosion and have the attention of physical attributes from lower temperatures to 300 deg C. it is annealed to offer moderate strength levels that allow to use in the critical applications. It has good anti-bio-fouling properties. It has the ability to form a protective layer on its surface from the beginning that eliminates sea water destruction.
