Copper Nickel Cu-Ni 70/30 (C71500) Flanges are designed from nickel and copper alloy in which it constitutes 70% of copper and 30 % of nickel content. In addition to it includes iron and manganese content that makes the flanges more resistant to corrosion and erosion. These alloys of flanges offer superior resistance to corrosion, particularly in marine saltwater atmospheres. Furthermore, these are also resistant to brine water, salts, dilute non-oxidizing acids and organic compounds.

The corrosion resistance features notably improve in polluted seawater and in high-velocity waters. These flanges excellently retain the attacks of sulfuric, phosphoric and mild organic acids. In addition to it resist dry and wet chlorine and carbon dioxide at ambient temperatures.
