Product details-
are low alloy steel tubes that comprised chromium, manganese and molybdenum contents. These alloy of tubes are versatile that possesses reasonable strength and good atmospheric corrosion resistance. The presence of chromium content ensures superior hardness penetration to tubes. Moreover, the molybdenum content enhances excellent high strength and uniform hardness. Furthermore, the tubes feature excellent ductility, toughness, and durability at elevated temperature circumstances. The tubes also demonstrate superior resistance to abrasion, oxidation and general corrosion in tough climatic circumstances. The AISI 4140 Tubes has the superior capability to resist creep in the temperature range up to 1000 degree F. Furthermore it maintains the properties even after exposure at soaring working temperatures. Therefore these tubes wear good resistance in tempered and quenched situations. The forging of these tubes is performed at a temperature of 900-1200 degree C. Moreover these alloys of tubes are heated at 845 degree C and are followed by oil quenching. Before the hardening of this tube, these are normalized through heating at 913 degree C for a long period of time pursued by air cooling. The tubes are hot and cold worked, while the cold working of these tubes is performed by using conventional methods in the annealed circumstances. These tubes are welded by using common welding practices.
